Resuscitation, is when an individual either stops breathing or their heart stops and measures are taken to bring them back to stability through CardioPulmonary Resuscitation.(CPR)  Resuscitation can also mean bringing back to life by making something more active.  The goal here is for you to breathe some new energy and motivation into your own lives.

Life has its ebbs and flows and as individuals we ride this flow.  However, there becomes times in our lives where we feel like we are in a rut, we lack motivation, feeling stagnate and a lack of energy.  Basically this is all part of being human.  Unfortunately many people either have trouble identifying what is going on or just don’t have the desire to change.  This is where Resuscitating Yourself becomes imperative for you to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.  I like to think it’s a way of putting the wind back in your sails, finding the energy and insight into change.

I want you to present yourself with some questions:

1: Do you enjoy your job?

2: Do you have too much time on your hands?

3: Do you have a lack of motivation?

4: Do you feel like you are not progressing forward in your life and daily routines?

5: Do you need to feel reinvigorated?

6: Are you feeling like you need to make big changes in your life?

7: Are you just plain bored?

8: When you think to yourself are there goals that you have not accomplished?

This is just a short list of some questions you can ask yourself to determine if you need to Breathe Life back into your existence.  I believe it is so important to frequently take a personal inventory of how you are feeling and the direction you are moving in. It is very easy to fall into a rut and can be very difficult to progress forward.  If you are someone who feels that change is in order, let’s identify some ways in which you can Resuscitate Yourself.  Burnout is real and we have to be able to see that it is time for a change. Start to first think about ways you have felt invigorated in the past. Pick up your smartphone and write this list down.  I want you now to think about things that might make you feel alive, spirited and increase your energy.  Again jot this down on your smartphone.  I am a firm believer that thoughts are fleeting and if you don’t write it down many thoughts just get lost in the moment. Making this list is your first step in Resuscitating Yourself.

Without knowing your specific needs here are some ways that you can Breathe new life into yourself.

!: Change your career

2: Further your education

3: Become more spiritual

This is why when we accomplish goals we feel so elated, proud and happy.  So now I am giving you permission to make some big life changes by Resuscitating Yourself!  Tell yourself it is Possible!
