Episode 21 of my Podcast is The RBG Effect.  “Equal Justice Under Law”, is what is written outside of The United States Supreme Court Building. The passing of RBG has had a profound impact on me and the world.  I watched live as her casket was escorted into the Supreme Court Building.  I was in awe at the 120 current and previous law clerks of RBG’s standing on the steps of the building. The law clerks were there to welcome and protect RBG for one last time at the Supreme Court. The images are powerful and now written in history.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg meant so much to the world. This week I discuss many of her accomplishments and lasting thoughts she left with the world, ( Feminism, Equality, Power, Knowledge and the many barriers that she broke for women).  RBG’s impact made on Millennials and Generation X will be lasting.  She became the Notorious RBG!

This podcast also discusses ways others have experienced  “The Ruth Bader Ginsburg Effect.”

Here are some thought from Lisa Sealey,

“I knew she was a champion of all and particularly women, but I am ashamed to say that until her death I didn’t know some of the specifics of what she did for us.  I didn’t know that being able to get credit in one’s own name was her doing.  Having been raised by a very strong capable, feminist mom (who was also a new divorcee in the early 70’s), I took it for granted that when I applied for credit in my late teens/early 20’s that I would be approved. It never crossed my mind that I wouldn’t.  I owe that directly to her. Same goes for being able to rent an apartment.  I consider myself lucky that I didn’t have to think about either of these things, and I am even more grateful now that I know it was RBG who paved the way.  Upon reflection, it is clear that my life would have been totally different if I hadn’t been able to get credit or an apartment on my own.”

Equality in our lives is paramount.  RBG encouraged us to fight for that in our own individual lives.  The ending discussion in the podcast will include, equality in our own lives and how to empower yourselves through positive affirmations.

Until next week,

POSITIVE THOUGHTS, POSITIVE ENERGY

I ENCOURAGE YOU TO EXPLORE ALL THE WIDE OPEN SPACES IN YOUR WORLD!
