Talk to yourself much? Most of us have that Inner Monologue with ourselves. You know that voice you hear inside your head of your own voice telling you how you are feeling, what you should do, how you should respond to someone or just problem solving. It’s called your inner voice. The inner voice can be very powerful in a positive or negative form. Inner Dialogue is where you create a conversation with someone in your head. For example, you need to tell a good friend how they have hurt your feelings. Inner Dialogue is where you rehearse this interaction with your friend in your head. We do this to help us prepare for a situation like a job interview. Inner Monologue and Inner Dialogue are our own personal coping skills. The Inner Dialogue and Inner Monologue help us with our Inner Warrior/Inner Bitch. A Warrior is someone who is strong and ready to protect themselves and others. A Bitch has many definitions but for our purposes a Bitch is a person male or female who has that internal power to speak their mind and their feelings without being aggressive or confrontational. To have that strong Inner Bitch you must start first with your Inner Warrior. The Inner Monologue that you have with yourself to learn how to be self-confident, self-assured and to stay true to your beliefs. The Warrior in you keeps you on the right track and when you are struggling your Warrior helps you to problem solve on how to protect yourself.
The Inner Bitch is that Inner Dialogue and Inner Monologue that helps you stand up for yourself, not to be manipulated by others, to say No when you don’t want to do something, to not be a people pleaser and to give your opinion even if you know others will disagree with you, There will be times where people will call you a Bitch. If you know that you expressed yourself appropriately then it is on them that they are unable to accept someone who speaks their truth. Most of these people believe that we should just follow the crowd or they believe they can manipulate the us. The Inner Bitch in you shows them that you are confident, you can make your own decisions and that you can’t be manipulated to go against your grain.
