There are signs all around you in life, it just depends on how you see them. My mother would always say she would see repeated numbers and that they meant certain things about the people she had lost in her life. To be honest when I was younger I would just roll my eyes at her and laugh(just a little) In life we begin to mature and we see a different perspective on things. I never thought I would about seeing numbers. Now I am rolling my eyes and laughing at myself, as I start to google, “What are Mirror Numbers.”
Let’s start with, Numerology is the study of numbers and their meanings. Doreen Virtue created the term “Angel Numbers” According to British Vogue, “Virtue coined this term based on findings of Pythagoras(an ancient Greek Philosopher) who believed in the power of numbers, angel numbers, special patterns of repeated numbers that appear in our lives,” Virtue believed, it is the universes way of sending us messages. Messages relating to being on the right path in your life or choices that you might be currently making.
Here is the big question, do you see numbers repeated on your clock or phone frequently? This is what got me thinking about my blog this week. I have been seeing a set of 5 different Mirror Numbers. So of course my brain juices started flowing and the curiosity got the best of me. It’s happening so often, I felt there must be a message in these numbers. Recently, on social media and in articles there has been an explosion of questioning the numbers 11:11. I am not sure where this new fascination has come from? I have seen 11:11 many times over past few years. I actually take a picture of the 11:11 on my phone when it appears and it appears all of the time. “11:11” means to think about how you are prioritizing your life and to instill optimism in your daily world. Another meaning is to manifest your dreams that you have been holding inside of you. When I see these numbers it is a subtle reminder to me to focus and think about how I see my world today. Do you see the numbers 11:11 a lot. If you do, take a moment to think about why you might be seeing these letters. I bet you start to see the numbers 11:11 even more now that I have sparked your interest.
Over the past month I have been seeing some Mirror Numbers in great frequency. I knew this was a message to me to gain insight into why these numbers were appearing to me. I started to see 14:14 a lot on my oven clock. I read a lot about these numbers and this is what I learned, “You are about to start something brilliant that can create new beginnings and chapters in your life.” OMG! How I needed to hear this message. I have been working on a project that I have been questioning and possibly having some “Imposter Syndrome.” I learned that the Mirror Numbers 14:14 are there to send the message to myself to not give up and to persevere on my project. These numbers just gave me the push I needed, not to give up on my efforts.
The numbers 12:12 have been showing up frequently as well. These numbers according to Hindustan Times, “12:12 signifies a powerful message regarding money and career.. It signifies a harmonious alignment between your professional journey and financial goals.” This message tells me to stay determined on my goals and the path I am moving on. Wow, well that correlates with seeing 14:14, I will take the message sent to me. Maybe, this is why I see the numbers 4:44 as well. Glamour magazine shared, “If you see angel numbers like 4:44 repeatedly don’t ignore it, stated Johnston. These numbers are there to guide you, offer you positive energy, support and inner confidence.” I see on this journey of investigation how all of these Mirror Numbers are connected. I have had that AhHa moment.
These messages have helped me to see that I must not give up, I am not an imposter and if I am dedicated to this project my goal will be accomplished. Maybe, by now you are saying who cares about Ilise’s Mirror Numbers. I mean how does this refer to my own life? Let me tell you why I shared my Mirror Numbers with you. Our brains are very concrete and we only believe things that we can actually see or are tangible. Seeing Mirror Numbers are not a tangible things, other then seeing the numbers appearing in your daily life. This is where you make the choice to absorb the numbers and focus on what meaning they are sending to you. Some believe this is your guardian angels sending you a message. For me the numbers are a way for the Positive Energy to move me in the right direction or not to give up. Again, you might be asking why is the author telling me this?
My friends, because I believe that Mirror Numbers can aid in our Mental Health. There are so many resources out there to help us cope with mental health issues and to maintain a healthy aspect of life. I believe Mirror Numbers can fall into this category. Many just need a sign to hold on, to not give up on relationships, work goals, dreams and quality of life. AhHa moment again! Do you now see how we can take the message we see in numerology to improve or maintain our mental health. I mean when I was questioning the work I am doing on my project, for a moment I wanted to give up on it. Reading what these number meant gave me the strength to change my thinking and to look for the Positive Energy that these numbers mean in my life. I could have given up and felt like I failed, but these numbers were the message I needed to improve my mood and the energy I am putting into this project.
Mental Health can be fragile at different times. Sometimes seeing a reminder of Mirror Numbers sends the message that there is hope, don’t give up, you can do it, you are ok, it’s ok not to feel ok, you are not broken and even maybe you are powerful. Sending these messages to our brain gives us strength and optimism when we struggle. In my years as a therapist working with clients, I learned everyone is so unique and individual. Not every coping mechanism is a cure all for everyone. This is why I like to share with you “My friends” new and innovative ways that you can cope in uncertain times. I believe the Mirror Numbers are one way to know that you are not alone in your struggles or challenges and that you can empower yourself in any given situation, struggles or moods.
The Journey is now in your hands. If you have been seeing Mirror Numbers, it is time to research their meaning and identify why you believe you are seeing these patterns. If you don’t see Mirror Numbers then you might be wondering why after reading this blog it starts to happen? I believe these numbers probably have been appearing to you but you have not let the importance register in your brain. You are aware now and you might begin to see these patterns frequently throughout your day. If you don’t, just wait I am sure sometime in the future you will see a pattern of Mirror Numbers and now you know how to tap into their power. Mental Health is impacted every day in all of our worlds and how great it is to be able to add a new way to cope. Ok, well go out and start noticing the Mirror Numbers in you world.
